Anvaya Cove Golf and Sports Club

Morong, Bataan, Philippines

The architecture for the Anvaya Cove Golf and Sports Club facilities is derived from island tropical roof forms and evolved for specifics of program and site. The forms of key spaces allow breezes to flow through the complex, provide orientations to views of the beach, and allow for daylight to penetrate into some of the deeper spaces with roofs set up in logical orientations for both passive daylighting and active photovoltaic panels. Regionally sourced hardwoods and stone create a material palette complementary to the tropical island character.
