Green Hills Country Club

Built in the 1930’s, this clubhouse had outgrown its useful life, with failing infrastructure and dysfunctional spaces. HGHB led the members through a process of exploring alternatives for remodel or replacement. Once the replacement option was determined to be the optimum solution and overwhelmingly approved by the membership, we developed a design that incorporated some of club’s architectural heritage by replicating the crafted wood ceilings and a key space from the original clubhouse. The new clubhouse also reestablished immediate views with surrounding golf course from every public space. Creative planning enabled the club to save the existing pool and cart storage structure. The club now has the ability to simultaneously host several food and beverage events while maintaining the privacy for the Club members. This reinvented club has realized a dramatic growth in membership as a result of the new facilities.
