Monterey Peninsula College – Art Complex

HGHB prepared both the State funding documents for this department and followed on with a two-phase modernization of Visual Arts complex housed in four buildings on the main campus. The first phase of the project includes specialized areas: drawing and painting studios, hand and wheel-throwing ceramics studios, indoor and outdoor kiln spaces, archival storage, faculty offices, and conference space. HGHB lobbied for the restoration of the original architectural character of this “village” within a campus as a means to highlight the diversity of the campus community. Phase 1 is about to commence construction and Phase 2 is Design Development.
