The clubhouse for this private country club was the product of an intensive membership-involved planning effort led by HGHB. Taking full advantage of the remarkable hilltop setting, the design for the new facilities captures the rural agrarian flavor of the Salinas Valley, presenting itself as an old stone farm building with smaller scaled board and batten anchoring the building to the site. Accents such as dormers, porches with shallow-standing seam metal roofs, iron railings, and divided lite wood windows add to the rural flavor.
