As York School’s first major expansion in over two decades, HGHB was commissioned to design the long-awaited Science Building, and to replace classrooms and labs in the dormitory building. To assist the design team, HGHB partnered with the nationally preeminent laboratory design firm of McLellan & Copenhagen, ensuring the students university-level facilities with state-of-the-art design. The green design provides the students an opportunity to learn in a model sustainable environment. The athletic complex was designed in association with sports field specialists to provide an outstanding venue for regional sports events.
